How can I prepare for this appointment?
Your appointment can expect to take between one and two hours. A relative or friend is welcomed to stay with you throughout the whole of your visit. You can eat and drink normally on the day of your appointment.
*Ultrasound Scan obtains a picture of the inside of your body. The scan is performed using a probe which is gently inserted into the vagina – it will be similar to having an internal examination. This method of scanning does not require you to have a full bladder as the probe is close to the pelvic organs.
